Matthew Carr, DVM, MPH
Dr. Carr was born in Liberal, Kansas. He attended Liberal High School and afterwards attended Kansas State University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in 2003. Dr. Carr then attended Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine and obtained his DVM in 2007. Most recently, Dr. Carr obtained a Master of Public Health from the University of Iowa in 2017.
Dr. Carr is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Missouri Veterinary Medical Association, and the Kansas City Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Carr has a strong interest in exotic animals, including ferrets, rabbits, rodents, and reptiles. Behavior is also an interest of Dr. Carr’s, and he strives to take time to ensure your pet is at ease during the visit. Given Dr. Carr’s background in public health, your visit is likely to include information on prevention of disease that can affect your pet as well as your family.
Dr. Carr currently resides in Kansas City, MO with his wife, two sons, dogs Cruella and Ralph, and a gecko named Luke.
